PTA at St. George's British International School Bilbao
The PTA (Parent and Teacher Association) at St. George's British International School is an association made up of parents and teaching staff who actively work together to enrich the educational experience of all our students. Our goal is to build a strong bridge between families and the school, fostering a united, inclusive school community committed to the comprehensive development of our students.
Our Mission
The mission of the PTA is to strengthen the relationship between families and the school community by promoting the active involvement of parents in their children's learning and school life. We do this through collaborative and supportive actions that foster the academic, personal and social development of our students, as well as the well-being of the entire educational community.
General Functions of the PTA
The PTA plays a fundamental role in school life. Its main functions include:

The recent Charity Run and the first World Culture Day celebrated at our school, beautifully highlighted the invaluable role of the PTA in fostering community spirit and cultural appreciation. By organising the World Culture Day, the PTA not only brought our diverse community together through food, games, and shared traditions, but also created a joyful space for learning and connection. Events like these are a testament to the PTA’s ongoing commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion, and enriching school life.
