More than a bilingual school in Bilbao
Hands-on learning and education by values in a 100% bilingual school
St. George's British International School is a private, secular, international school located in Leioa, Vizcaya. We currently follow the English National Curriculum from Pre-nursery (2 years) to Year 9, and will gradually expand the British curriculum to all stages of education, a gradual transition to be completed by 2025. We offer a broad and balanced educational programme, specially designed to meet the individual needs of each pupil, in a fun and stimulating learning environment.
As a British and international school, St. George's British International School follows the UK English National Curriculum, is accredited by the British Council and approved by the Basque Government Department of Education, providing its pupils with a fully bilingual education, with real linguistic immersion in English from the first day of school.
Our dynamic, interactive and highly motivating educational offer improves the learning style, making the classes really productive for the pupils. The success of this bilingual school in Bilbao is based on developing the different skills of each child, with a personalised curriculum that encourages critical thinking, research and practical learning, where academic knowledge is as important as the skills and abilities of each child. If you would like to know more, our Admissions Officer will be happy to attend to you individually and answer any questions you may have.
