Due to the transition to the new English National Curriculum, our first sixth form class will graduate in 2026. In the meantime, we celebrate the successes achieved by the cluster's first school to offer all stages of education in the British curriculum here in Spain: O Castro British International School (Vigo). Their first class (2020) to take A-Level exams achieved a 100 per cent presentation and pass rate; 52 per cent of grades were A or A* and they achieved amazing results in the UNED PCE exams, with an average mark of 3.1 out of a possible 4, the highest being 3.9.
With an average mark of 11.6, and an incredible 13.9 as their highest mark, the first Old Boys and Old Girls from O Castro (Vigo) continued their studies at prestigious universities in Spain, the United Kingdom and the rest of Europe. Among them, Lancaster University, Brighton, Winchester, the University of Bristol, the ACM of London or York stand out. In Spain, the students continued their university studies at prestigious universities, both public and private, such as the University of Pais Vasco, Carlos III University of Madrid, the Pontifical University of Salamanca, ICAI (Madrid) and the University of Deusto.
