Absolute success of the third Parents & Kids Golf Tournament

For the third consecutive year, last weekend we celebrated the last edition of the St. George's British International School Parents & Kids Golf Tournament at the Laukariz Country Club in Bilbao. A much awaited event, which this year was sold out, with 54 couples registered.  

It was a wonderful day of family sport, as this form tournament allows families and children to enjoy the sport together. Our Headteacher, Ian Walker, had the opportunity to enjoy some of the best shots of the tournament, as well as handing out the tournament prizes.  

In addition, this year's event was also attended by some of our students and their families, who proudly played the tournament sponsored by their school and presented the prizes. We were proud to see our young Georgians enjoying the sport together with their families, an unforgettable experience! 

In addition, and as in previous editions, the tournament was in solidarity, donating 100% of the entries (390 euros) to the Aladina Foundation, which does commendable work so that children and adolescents suffering from cancer never lose their smiles. Its mission is to support and care for them throughout their illness, providing comprehensive emotional, psychological and material support to thousands of children and families every year, in Spain and other countries.
