Charity Run for Morocco

St. George's British International School joins forces to help Morocco through a charity run
On the 8th October, the educational community of St. George's British International School came together for a common cause: to raise as much as possible to help Morocco after the terrible earthquake they suffered for miles. Neither the sun nor the unseasonable heat could overcome the commitment and determination of our students, teachers and families, who did not hesitate to give their best and run for a great cause. A race that is a unique experience, where every stride counts and every step makes a difference.
1. Joining forces for a noble cause
At the heart of this initiative is solidarity and education in values. Students, teachers and parents joined forces to support a specific charitable cause, on this occasion, to help the victims of the terrible earthquake in Morocco.
2. More than a race: a Community Experience
The Charity Run goes beyond competition. It is a day to celebrate unity, sportsmanship and community spirit. From the fastest runners to those who prefer to walk, everyone contributes to the same goal. Bonds are strengthened as participants cross the finish line, knowing they have left a positive mark.
3. Empowering the new generations
One of the keys to these races is the participation of the youngest. Children run with enthusiasm, learning from an early age the value of solidarity and the importance of contributing to the welfare of others. It is a lesson that goes beyond the classroom, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.
4. Measurable Impact: Stride for Stride
Every step counts, and in this race, every step translates into concrete help. The St. George's British International School community demonstrates that even the smallest actions can have a significant impact.
5. Inspiring others to follow the example
This race not only inspires those who participate, but also sends a powerful message to other institutions and communities. The idea of combining sport with solidarity is contagious, and we hope to see more life-transforming charity runs across the country. See you at the start line, ready to run for a cause, for the community and for the future!
