Pastoral care at St. George's
It is our hope that every student at St. George’s is happy to come to school every day. We are committed to ensuring that any worries or problems that may arise during time at school are quickly and appropriately addressed.
PSHE education
Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) is a learning program designed to help children acquire the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to manage their lives. As part of the school's overall approach, the PSHE course develops the qualities and attributes that students need to survive as individuals, family members, and members of society.
PSHE is integrated into all aspects of school life at St. George's. We explore the questions of positive relationships, self-image, and communication skills with others in our day-to-day interactions. In addition, we have dedicated PSHE moments through Circle time and in PSHE classes.
Safeguarding
Every member of staff at the school undertakes safeguarding training to identify any personal issues that children might be facing, and to ensure that adults do not pose a risk to them either.
